Who we are
ISVS (International School of Veterinary Specializations) provides continuing professional education for veterinary teams, including live webinars, online case simulations and in-person skills labs. For privacy purposes ISVS is the data controller for personal data collected through isvs.vet. Contact: hello@isvs.in.
What data we collect
Information you give us: name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, city, professional role or speciality, and any details you include in a form or case application. Payment data: when you buy a place, payment is processed by our payment provider — we receive confirmation of the transaction and billing details, but we do not store your full card number. Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and similar analytics data. Learning data: attendance, participation and progress within programmes you enrol in.
How we use it
To deliver the programme you registered for, including session links, materials and recordings; to process payments, refunds and receipts; to send you programme updates and, where you have opted in, newsletters and clinical updates; to respond to your enquiries; to improve our teaching and website; and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Legal bases (EU / UK users)
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering a programme you purchased); consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); legitimate interests (site security, service improvement and administration); and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
Who processes your data
We use trusted third-party providers who process data on our behalf: WordPress hosting for this website; SureCart for payments and order management; our email delivery and newsletter provider for transactional and marketing email; and a video platform for hosting live sessions and recordings. These providers process data under contract and only on our instructions. Some may process data outside your country, including outside the EU/UK; where required, transfers are made using appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function (for example maintaining your session and cart) and, with your consent, analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can manage or withdraw cookie consent at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
How long we keep data
Enrolment and payment records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law (commonly up to eight years in India and six to seven years in the UK/EU). Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry records are kept for up to two years. Analytics data is retained in aggregated or pseudonymised form.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access a copy of your data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; and request portability. Users in India have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, including access, correction, erasure and grievance redressal. Users in the EU and UK have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK, or your national data protection authority in the EU.
Children
Our programmes are intended for veterinary professionals and students in higher education. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable processors. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authority of a qualifying data breach where the law requires it.

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version. For any privacy request or question, contact hello@isvs.in and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
